What is Malaysia Cosplay Toshokan?

Malaysia Cosplay Toshokan is a cosplay community organization which also has a media department dedicated to Cosplayers’ and the public delivering news and information on Cosplay, Japanese Fashion, Language, Anime, Manga, Japanese Culture, ACG in-short, and many other related. This encourages Malaysians to participate in these fun activities where each individuals are able to express themselves in this colourful world of Cosplay. Mainly in Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and many parts of the world has been trending the cosplay activities. Harajuku, Shibuya and Ginza are the origins of Cosplay which supports the cosplay trending.

The popularity and the influence on Public from the Japan’s ACG Culture have brought a big effect to the Malaysian Community. In other asian countries as well such as Indonesia, Phillipines, Thailand and as well as many part of the world. By having this club, we are able to gather fans, gamers, cosplayers, japanese culture enthusiasts, interested to form a large and big community.

Malaysia Cosplay Toshokan had adopted both culture from Japan and also locally to introduce cosplay in Malaysian Community as we are given ideas through friendship, club affliations, public and more from various sources.

Establishment/History/Hope/Mission

The Malaysia Cosplay Toshokan is been formed from 5 different individuals to achieve the aim of sharing information with the Malaysian community about Cosplay. The effect and support to form this club has gain many support from fans, public, friends, and more. Our mission are to make a healthy cosplay community and are able to register cosplayers in the country to recognize them as a contributer to exposing cosplay culture. Our Aim is also to collect cosplayers to form a database for cosplayers in Malaysia.
